BeanStation Cafe (Old Station Building, Sanger St, Wodonga) Located in the old station building, BeanStation Cafe offers a cozy, relaxed atmosphere that extends to its outdoor area, where dogs are welcome. When I’ve visited, I’ve enjoyed their Big Breakfast—it’s hearty, with generous portions, perfect after a morning walk with the dog. They also have lovely cakes that go well with a cappuccino. It's such a charming spot, filled with a bit of history, and it’s perfect for bringing your pup along.
What to try: The Big Breakfast and their delightful cakes.
Edwards Tavern (Address: 1 Moorefield Park Dr, Wodonga)
While more of a pub than a café, Edwards Tavern is a fantastic place to bring your dog if you’re after a relaxed meal. With a spacious outdoor beer garden where dogs are welcome, this place is ideal if you want a laid-back atmosphere. I’ve had their Chicken Parmigiana here, which is a classic and generously sized—definitely something to try if you’re looking for comfort food. The tavern has a friendly vibe, and it's lovely to kick back with your dog and enjoy some time outdoors.
What to try: Chicken Parmigiana and garlic bread.
Piccolo Pod (81 Hovell Street, Wodonga) Nestled in Wodonga, Piccolo Pod is a charming spot with a cozy, outdoor seating area perfect for dog owners. I loved their delicious breakfast options, and the coffee was exceptional! When we visited, we tried their popular avocado smash—a standout dish that perfectly balanced fresh ingredients. Their light salads and wraps are also highly recommended. Dogs are welcome outside, and staff are quick to offer water bowls.
